Senior Software Engineer at Bank Jago

DKatalis is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team, working in collaboration with Bank Jago. This role involves being part of a cross-functional agile engineering team responsible for building, deploying, and supporting digital products, focusing on full-stack development.

The Senior Software Engineer will work closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders, ensuring product quality and making a significant impact. The candidate will also share learnings and mentor junior engineers in good engineering practices.

Responsibilities:

• Work with engineering and product owners to design, refine, and develop products from concept to implementation.
• Contribute to creating best-in-class products and experiences for customers by designing, building, scaling, and evolving platforms, services, and tools.
• Communicate, collaborate, and work effectively across cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment.
• Mentor a team of highly talented and motivated engineers.
• Ensure the performance, security, and responsiveness of applications.
• Continuously improve code quality, product execution, automation, and customer delight.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a similar role developing highly scalable applications.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Hands-on expertise in Java / Javascript or its derivatives (Typescript, NodeJS, Scala, Kotlin, Springboot, etc.).
• Hands-on experience in front-end development (Flutter Preferred).
• Experience with Lean/XP practices (TDD, Pair Programming, Continuous Integration/Delivery for both Mobile & Back-end).
• Experience working in Agile Software development.
• Excitement about delivering end-to-end experiences and caring about software architecture.
• A passion for quality and best practices with a pragmatic approach to delivering value in a timely manner.
• Enjoys mentoring junior engineers on good engineering practices and sharing knowledge.
