Marqeta is seeking a highly motivated Key Account Executive to scale the success of their Enterprise business. This role involves cultivating relationships with Fortune 500 Executives, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and orchestrating a full funnel sales process. The Enterprise team focuses on impactful commercial opportunities, including established brands and marketplaces, requiring the ability to understand and communicate Marqeta's technology benefits.
What This Role Involves: - Closing and launching strategic customers.
- Qualifying leads and prioritizing customer opportunities.
- Managing customer opportunities through a sales process.
- Working with the Legal team to manage contracts.
- Understanding Marqeta's technical capabilities.
- Selling the partnership vision.
Requirements: - 10+ years of Enterprise Sales experience, ideally in payments and/or Fintech.
- Familiarity with the fintech ecosystem and B2B technology applications.
- Financial acumen and comfort with complex deal structures.
- Confidence in serving as the face of Marqeta for prospective customers.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with Salesforce and prospecting automation tools.
