Marqeta is seeking a Key Account Manager to manage one of their global strategic accounts within the EU/UK region. This role involves partnering with a cross-functional team to provide exceptional client service and identify revenue-generating opportunities. The Key Account Manager will need to understand the business needs of customers and demonstrate effective solutions.

This position is offered as flexible-first and can be performed remotely but must be within the Greater London area.

The job involves:

  • Understanding customer needs and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Developing and executing strategic account plans.
  • Leading business reviews and using data-driven strategies.
  • Negotiating contracts and pricing models.

Requirements:

  • 7 years of experience in Account Management.
  • Proven experience growing strategic accounts and building multi-stakeholder relationships.
  • Familiarity with fintech, banking, or payments.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to influence others and gain buy-in across the organization.
  • Experience negotiating contracts and pricing models.
  • Track record of cross-selling and upselling.
