Senior Production Support Engineer - EU/UK at Marqeta

Marqeta is seeking a Senior Production Support Engineer to join their European team. This role is centered around the customer experience and provides technical support to Marqeta customers. The position is flexible-first and can be performed remotely within the UK or from the London office. The Senior Production Support Engineer will manage the technical needs of Marqeta's customers, configure environments and controls, and troubleshoot collaboratively as customers integrate with Marqeta's platform.

The role involves:

• Configuring environments and controls.
• Troubleshooting collaboratively with customers.
• Providing high-quality support to customers.
• Monitoring production transaction.
• Coordinating and executing internal projects.
• Providing on-call support.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in the card payments industry.
• Ability to work in a customer-facing role.
• 4+ years of experience in technical support.
• Good understanding of API technologies.
• Comfortable working within a Linux environment.
• Intermediate SQL knowledge.
• Scriptwriting experience (Python, Ruby, Shell, etc.).
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools.
