ScienceLogic is seeking a Sales Engineer to join their sales organization. The Sales Engineer will work alongside experienced Account Executives to help innovative organizations get the most out of their infrastructure through ScienceLogic’s Automation Engine for AIOps solution. The ideal candidate will have significant experience working with both enterprise and managed service companies.
As a Sales Engineer, one will:
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor and subject matter expert to GSIs
- Develop and deliver tailored technical presentations, demos, and PoCs
- Create technical responses to RFPs
- Design logical and physical architecture diagrams
- Develop competitive analysis and product comparison documents
- Articulate value propositions for the platform
- Drive the creation of reusable solution assets and lead technical workshops
- Engage in verticalization discussions and integrate platform capabilities with emerging technologies
- Partner with internal product teams and represent the company at industry events
ScienceLogic requires that candidates have:
- Proven experience in technical pre-sales
- Expertise in AIOps, observability tools, and ITSM platforms
- Understanding of cloud technologies, containerization, and DevOps practices
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- A track record of driving large enterprise opportunities
- Strategic thinking and hands-on ability to architect solutions
- Proactive and self-motivated approach
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in technical pre-sales
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Passion for technology
- Knowledge of UNIX, TCP/IP, SNMP, XML, ODBC, Syslog, SSH, ITIL, Python
