Distran, a Swiss high-tech company specializing in gas leak detection, is seeking a Senior Sales and Key Account Manager for the German market. The role involves managing key client relationships and driving growth in the Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, and Power Generation sectors. The ideal candidate will be based in South or East Germany and possess a passion for the environment and technology.

In this role, the Senior Sales and Key Account Manager will:
- Manage the German market based on company`s strategic objectives.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market presence and increase revenue in target sectors.
- Manage and grow relationships with key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Identify and acquire new customers.
- Perform on-site presentations and demonstrations.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals.
- Prepare sales forecasts and performance analyses.
- Manage a Business Development Manager.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Attend trade shows and industry events.
- Shape the sales strategy in the assigned territory.
Requirements for this role include:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- 10+ years of experience in a similar sales position.
- Experience in the Chemical industry is highly desirable.
- Strong track record of achieving sales targets.
- People management experience.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English and German.
- Willingness to travel (60%).
