Job Description
Verkada is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join their growing team in London. Verkada is a leader in cloud-based B2B physical security, offering six product lines integrated with a single cloud-based software platform. The Technical Support Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting Verkada's expanding base of enterprise customers in the EMEA region.
As a member of the Technical Support Engineering team, the candidate will be responsible for supporting the entire line of Verkada cloud-managed building security products. This position requires independent and collaborative problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to advise customers on Verkada's platform. The team serves as a vital link between customers, Engineering, and Product Management.
Responsibilities:
- Full-stack troubleshooting of the entire Verkada platform
- Providing best practice design, installation, and configuration expertise
- Communicating technical matters to customers
- Owning customer issues from creation to resolution
- Collaborating with Engineering and Product teams
- Writing technical knowledge base articles and whitepapers
- Staying up to date on the latest products and industry technologies
- Building tools and processes that will scale
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related technical discipline
- 1+ years of experience in a technical support engineering or IT role
- Strong understanding of network fundamentals
- Experience with Linux, APIs, Python, or other coding languages is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills and multitasking abilities
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Industry certifications are a plus
