Lightspeed is seeking a Workday Specialist to join their Talent Operations team. This role is a 12-month temporary position. The Workday Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient operation of absence management, payroll, and time tracking modules within Workday. He will be responsible for configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, process improvement, and deployment of new functionalities.
The role involves:
- Contributing to the Workday strategy, operations, and daily support for various modules.
- Managing system security roles and permissions for absence, payroll, and time tracking modules.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to develop technical solutions.
- Providing technical expertise and operational support to regional payroll representatives.
- Managing absence and leave configuration for global locations.
- Configuring new absence and leave plans.
- Implementing process improvements for time tracking, absence management, and payroll.
The requirements are:
- 4+ years of technical experience with Workday, specifically in absence management, payroll, or time tracking.
- Understanding of payroll regulations and best practices (Canada and US).
- Proficiency in absence policy management for multiple countries.
- Knowledge of custom report configuration and large dataset processing.
- Experience in conducting audits and maintaining data integrity.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and HR systems.
