Lightspeed is looking for an Account Manager to join their retail sales team. The Account Manager will be responsible for generating revenue through phone and email correspondence, as well as screen-sharing presentations to potential clients. The ultimate goal is to create solutions for retailers looking to adopt Lightspeed for their business. They are seeking an energetic sales professional with experience selling technology solutions.
What this role involves:
- Following up and managing qualified leads by phone and email within specified timeframes.
- Working in a team environment to grow the business collaboratively.
- Conducting individual screen-sharing presentations and demonstrations as needed.
- Working on price negotiations.
- Meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
- Working with sales development representatives to coordinate appointments and optimize schedules.
- Effectively leading prospects through a defined sales process.
- Tracking prospect progress to closure in Salesforce.com.
- Assuming other tasks and responsibilities as defined by management.
Requirements:
- Experience in sales, preferably in a solution or technology sales environment.
- Strong presentation and telephone skills.
- Experience and solid understanding of quotes, invoicing, and purchasing.
- Excellent command of English and French, written and spoken.
- Passion for people and technology.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a targeted environment.
