Lightspeed is seeking a Field Sales Account Executive to join their team in Marseille. This role presents a unique opportunity to be among the first Field Sales Account Executives in the South of France, working alongside the Field Sales Manager to build a high-performing team from the ground up. The successful candidate will develop and implement a strategy that requires a physical presence in Marseille, actively managing the sales cycle from prospecting and demos to contract signing.
- Converting prospects into satisfied customers through various sales methods, including door-to-door sales, cold calls, and in-person presentations.
- Managing the entire sales cycle, from identifying and developing prospects to meeting with clients, creating value propositions, structuring financial deals, negotiating contracts, and closing sales.
- Visiting clients regularly to identify their challenges and pain points.
- Conducting in-person demonstrations of retail products.
- Analyzing, reporting, and taking action on pipeline indicators.
- Consistently striving to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
- Creating new opportunities through networking events.
- Relevant sales experience in a field and prospecting environment, preferably in selling solutions/technology.
- Understanding of best practices in business development.
- Ability to manage time effectively and optimally.
- Excellent customer service and telephone communication skills, including strong listening, verbal, and written communication.
- Ability to meet and/or exceed sales targets.
- Love of numbers and a preference for a quantitative approach to decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a competitive, dynamic, and quota-driven environment.
- Fluency in French and English.
- An entrepreneurial and agile mindset, a bias for action, and the ability to pivot when necessary to meet business needs and objectives.
