Lightspeed is seeking a Field Account Executive to join their team in Montpellier. This is an exciting opportunity to be one of the first Field Sales Account Executives in the South of France and work with the Field Sales Manager to build a high-performing team from the ground up. The role involves developing Lightspeed's presence, boosting success in the region, and contributing to the company's long-term impact on the market.

Responsibilities include:

  • Turning prospects into satisfied customers through sales methods like door-to-door, cold calls, and in-person presentations
  • Managing the entire sales cycle, from identifying and developing prospects to meeting clients, creating value propositions, structuring financial deals, negotiating contracts, and closing sales
  • Visiting customers regularly to identify their challenges and pain points
  • Conducting in-person demonstrations of retail products
  • Analyzing, reporting on, and taking action on pipeline indicators
  • Consistently exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual goals
  • Creating new opportunities through networking events

Requirements:

  • Relevant sales experience in a field and prospecting environment, preferably in selling solutions/technology
  • Good understanding of best business development practices
  • Ability to manage time effectively and optimally
  • Excellent customer service and telephone communication skills, including strong listening, speaking, and writing skills
  • Ability to meet and/or exceed sales goals
  • Love of numbers: you prefer a quantitative approach to making decisions
  • Ability to thrive in a competitive, dynamic, and quota-driven environment
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Entrepreneurial and agile mindset, a bias for action, and an ability to pivot when necessary to meet company needs and objectives
  • Experience in hospitality
