Lightspeed is seeking a Field Sales Account Executive in Nice, France. As one of the first Field Sales Account Executives in Southern France, the candidate will join the Field Sales Manager to build a high-performing team from the ground up. The role involves implementing a strategy that requires physical presence in Nice, actively managing the sales cycle from prospecting to demos to contract signing. The mission is to develop Lightspeed's presence, boost success in the region, and contribute to the company's long-term impact in this key market.
Role Involves:
- Transforming prospects into satisfied customers through sales methods such as door-to-door, cold calling, and in-person presentations.
- Managing the entire sales cycle, from identifying and developing prospects to meeting with clients, creating value propositions, structuring financial deals, negotiating contracts, and closing sales.
- Visiting clients regularly to identify their challenges and pain points.
- Delivering in-person product demonstrations.
- Analyzing, reporting on, and acting on pipeline indicators.
- Driving performance to consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
- Creating new opportunities through networking events.
Requirements:
- Relevant sales experience in a field and prospecting environment, preferably in selling solutions/technology.
- A good understanding of commercial development best practices.
- Ability to manage time effectively and optimally.
- Excellent customer service and telephone communication skills, including strong listening, speaking, and writing skills.
- Ability to meet and/or exceed sales targets.
- Loves numbers: you favor a quantitative approach to making decisions
- Ability to thrive in a competitive, dynamic, and quota-driven environment.
- Proficiency in French and English.
- An entrepreneurial and agile mindset, a bias for action, and an ability to pivot when necessary to meet company needs and objectives.
