Job Description

Lightspeed is seeking a motivated and experienced Account Executive to join their retail sales team. This role is responsible for generating revenue through phone and email communication, as well as conducting presentations via screen sharing to potential clients. The Account Executive's ultimate goal is to create solutions for retailers looking to adopt Lightspeed for their business.

The ideal candidate will be an energetic sales professional with experience selling technology solutions, who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This person will have access to significant earning potential with uncapped commission.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow up on and manage qualified leads via phone and email in a timely manner
  • Work in a team environment to grow the company collaboratively
  • Conduct individual screen sharing presentations and demonstrations as needed
  • Work on price negotiations
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas
  • Work with Sales Development Representatives to coordinate appointments and optimize the calendar
  • Effectively guide prospects through a defined sales process
  • Track prospect progress to closure in Salesforce.com
  • Assume other tasks and responsibilities as defined by management

Requirements:

  • Experience in sales, preferably in a solution or technology sales environment
  • Strong presentation and phone skills
  • Experience and solid understanding of quotes, invoicing, and purchasing
  • Excellent command of English and French, both written and spoken
  • Passion for people and technology
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a focused environment
