Lightspeed is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join their high-performing North American retail sales team. This is a hybrid position supported by Sales Development Representatives, requiring the generation of relationships with potential clients to exceed KPIs.
The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for prospecting, scheduling meetings, and managing the sales process from initial communication to closing deals. They will contribute to an innovative and evolving company that is changing how business owners and their customers interact in the retail sector.
Responsibilities:
- Generating new business opportunities through phone, email, and social media.
- Building relationships and identifying customer needs in the retail sector.
- Managing the sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals, including demo presentations and contract negotiation.
- Managing multiple deals in Salesforce simultaneously.
- Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to achieve common business goals.
- Collaborating with management on price negotiation, touchpoint optimization, and sales strategy refinement.
- Providing feedback on market trends, customer challenges, and competitor strategies.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of sales experience in a B2B sales role with outbound sales experience, preferably in retail or SaaS.
- Experience managing all aspects of the sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
- Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
- Experience in sales forecasting and managing key performance indicators daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.
