Développeur(se) Frontend Senior at Lightspeed Commerce (FR)

Lightspeed is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to join their Hospitality product group in Montreal. The candidate will contribute to expanding into new markets and improving the advanced commerce platform for the hospitality industry. Specifically, they will join the team responsible for building an advanced modular system for user management and permissions.

The role involves working within a collaborative team to enhance engineering practices and maintain a friendly environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing new features and innovative workflows
• Designing elegant and functional web applications
• Supporting existing integrations
• Collaborating with the Lead Developer, Product Managers, Designers, and Platform teams
• Participating in agile rituals and brainstorming innovative ideas
• Maintaining code quality and contributing to infrastructure health
• Sharing knowledge and best practices

Requirements:

• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and CSS-in-JS
• Experience with React.js, Next.js, or similar technologies
• Understanding of cross-browser/platform issues
• Experience with a back-end layer for front-end
• Practice with testing (e2e with Cypress) and high code standards
• Fluency in English
