Développeur(se) Logiciel Staff at Lightspeed Commerce (FR)

Lightspeed is seeking a Staff Software Developer to join their dynamic software development team. This role involves enhancing one of Lightspeed's cloud-based point-of-sale products within the Hospitality group, focusing on expanding into new markets and improving the Cloud POS.

The Staff Software Developer will collaborate with a global team, utilizing cutting-edge technologies to assist restaurant owners in delivering exceptional customer experiences. They will work alongside Product Managers, Architects, Developers, and other stakeholders to define clear and pragmatic solutions.

What this role involves:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining critical systems across multiple products.
• Developing clean and highly maintainable code.
• Collaborating with product managers, architects, developers, and other stakeholders to define solutions.
• Responding to incidents with a strong sense of responsibility towards customers and the team.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in developing and deploying Ruby and Java systems.
• 5+ years of experience with AWS or a similar cloud environment.
• Solid understanding of computer systems and service architectures.
• Ability to understand customer needs.
• Strong desire to collaborate with other developers.
• Strong sense of responsibility throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Ability to analyze production environments, incidents, and performance to provide appropriate solutions.
• Proven experience writing unit and integration tests for complex systems.
• Desire to improve existing systems and design new solutions pragmatically.
