Lightspeed is seeking a talented Software Development Team Lead to join one of its dynamic teams. This role involves contributing to the growth and development of the company's hospitality product group, aiming to reach new markets and strengthen their comprehensive commercial platform. The successful candidate will join the team focused on Lightspeed's integrations, enabling clients to expand their workflows. The mission is to ensure the flagship product is well-suited for the target audience in the EMEA and North American markets, offering various integrations with partners. The role involves being part of a collaborative team dedicated to improving engineering practices, implementing cutting-edge technologies, and maintaining a stimulating work environment. The work will play a central role in redefining the hospitality sector experience globally.

• Collaborating with industry experts to enhance the omnichannel product by developing innovative features and workflows.
• Enriching and extending product capabilities by contributing to the AWS-hosted microservices platform.
• Managing the development of new features and maintaining existing partner integrations, prioritizing new feature development for new market ventures.
• Reporting to the Development Team Lead and maintaining strong interaction with product managers, product designers, and platform teams.
• Participating in daily agile meetings, brainstorming innovative ideas, and updating solution-oriented ideas.
• Promoting superior code quality and accountability while actively contributing to infrastructure health.
• Fostering growth within the team by disseminating knowledge and best practices, aiming for continuous progression.

• Excellent knowledge of Java with over 5 years of production experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Spring Framework.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• A strong advocate for testing, with experience in automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
• Proficiency in English with effective communication skills.
