Manufacturing Technician (Bioprocess) at Vow

Vow, a cultured meat company, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join their Manufacturing team in Sydney. This is an early-stage career opportunity ideal for someone with a passion for cultured meat manufacturing. The Technician will be responsible for production and factory operations, working alongside scientists, engineers, operators, and designers.Role responsibilities include:

• Managing the manufacturing process from cell thawing to harvest
• Performing routine monitoring to ensure quality control
• Operating bioreactors and large-scale processing equipment
• Adhering to and improving Vow’s quality management system
• Documenting and maintaining manufacturing processes
• Recording deviations from SOPs
• General lab upkeep and maintenance

Requirements include:

• A relevant degree with prior work experience
• Experience with cell culture, HACCP plans, Quality Management Systems (ISO9001, ISO13485 or similar) or GMP standards is ideal but not must
• High degree of technical competence and scientific awareness
• Flexibility to carry out shift work/weekend work when required
• Ability to work within a high functioning team environment
• The mentality to work autonomously and always feel empowered to find better ways to do things.
