Ada is seeking an IT Intern to support their Information Technology architecture. The intern will be the first point of contact for People Operations requests and will help maintain the company's IT infrastructure. This is a 3-month contract position. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in an IT or help desk role, with MacOS support experience preferred.
Role involves:
- Acting as the first responder for IT-related issues.
- Handling the deployment of new IT equipment.
- Managing user onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Maintaining an accurate IT equipment inventory.
- Servicing audio-visual and other technical equipment.
- Creating and updating technical documentation.
- Delivering ongoing IT support to the Ada team.
- Assisting and training users in new IT software and systems.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in an IT or help desk role, ideally with MacOS support.
- Passion for technology, especially AI.
- Knowledge of computers and networking, with a preference for MacOS.
- Experience with first level IT requests.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Willingness to commute to the office 2-3 times per week, as required.
