GPU Solutions Engineer

Vultr is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join their Solutions Engineering team, focusing on GPU, AI, and ML. This role is pivotal in driving business growth through technical pre- and post-sales engagements, with a strong emphasis on GPU infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience in pre-sales and proof of concepts, demonstrating initiative in high-growth companies and a deep understanding of the AI community.

Responsibilities:

• Focus on capturing GPU based Generative AI / ML / Analytics revenue.
• Meet with potential and current customers to communicate how Vultr can address their needs.
• Engage with customers to understand their business problems.
• Scope and define proof of concepts to accelerate opportunities.
• Educate customers on the value Vultr provides.
• Participate in architectural discussions and design exercises.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management.
• Partner with Marketing to create reference architectures and demonstrations.
• Coach and mentor the Sales team on GPU / AI&ML topics.

Requirements:

• Highly motivated with a sense of ownership and willingness to learn.
• Skilled at influencing stakeholders and peers.
• Ability to articulate technical and business concepts.
• Expertise in the GPU ecosystem, including hardware, cloud delivery, and AI/ML frameworks.
• 6+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting.
• 4+ years of Solution Engineering or Sales Engineering experience.
• 3+ years of experience deploying GPU-based AI, ML & Analytics solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of AI Models / Algorithms, Libraries, Compilers and Runtimes.
• System level understanding of server hardware architecture and Linux OS.
• Networking and Storage experience.
