RightShip is seeking a Business Development Manager for the APAC region. This role involves implementing new business initiatives, identifying sales opportunities, and raising RightShip's profile as a provider of choice. The Business Development Manager will work closely with the Head of APAC and the Product Team to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify priority growth areas
  • Develop and implement business development plans
  • Identify market opportunities and develop products and services
  • Set short and medium-term business objectives
  • Build commercial business cases to support growth initiatives
  • Research organizations and individuals to identify new growth opportunities
  • Drive the growth of the business in customer numbers and revenue
  • Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring appropriate handovers of customers between departments
  • Interact with prospective consumers to relay the product’s value and benefits
  • Develop, implement and maintain customer relationship strategy and plan
  • Communicate RightShip’s new business strategy to customers
The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in generating new business and achieving revenue growth, with strong business acumen and excellent communication skills. Experience in SaaS or PaaS sales is highly advantageous.
  • Extensive experience generating new business and achieving revenue growth
  • Ability to forge new relationships quickly
  • Experience in creating brand awareness and executing branding activities
  • Experience in driving scale up operations
  • Experience working in SaaS or PaaS sales advantageous
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English
