eScribers, a leader in reporting and transcription services, is seeking a Court Reporter/Stenographer for a contractor position in Albany, New York. The company values professionalism, innovative thinking, and collaboration.
Role involves:
- Appearing in-person for hearings in Albany, NY and surrounding areas.
- Providing stenographic court reporting services.
Requirements:
- Must have training or relevant experience as a steno reporter.
- Must be able to provide NCRA, NVRA, NYSCRA Certification Credentials -OR- proof of successful completion of an accredited court reporting program.
- Be legally eligible to work in the United States.
- High degree of professionalism.
- Commit to meeting all deadlines.
- Have a high-speed internet connection.
- Reliable mode of transportation.
- Have a current U.S. bank account to receive contract payments.
Role offers:
- Compensation on a per-project/assignment basis.
- Daily appearance fee.
- Transcription fees.
- Travel expenses reimbursed, if necessary.
- Weekly pay via direct deposit.
