eScribers, a leader in reporting and transcription services, is seeking Court Reporters/Stenographers for contractor positions. The company values professionalism, innovative thinking, and collaboration. This role involves in-person hearings in Suffolk County, New York, and surrounding areas, with remote work also available.
Responsibilities include:
- Attending hearings in person in Suffolk County, New York and surrounding areas.
- Providing stenographic court reporting services.
- Meeting all deadlines.
- Maintaining excellent quality standards in the submission of assignments.
Requirements:
- Training or relevant experience as a steno reporter.
- NCRA, NVRA, NYSCRA Certification Credentials -OR- proof of successful completion of an accredited court reporting program.
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
- High degree of professionalism.
- High-speed internet connection.
- Reliable mode of transportation.
- Current U.S. bank account.
eScribers offers:
- Compensation on a per-project/assignment basis.
- Daily appearance fee.
- Transcription fees.
- Travel expenses reimbursed, if necessary.
- Weekly pay via direct deposit.
