UK Legal Transcriber - Remote Freelance at eScribers

eScribers, a leader in reporting and transcription services, is seeking a skilled Legal Transcriber to join their UK team. The company is private equity backed and growing rapidly worldwide. This remote, freelance contract position offers the flexibility to create your own work schedule from home.

The successful candidate will contract with eScribers Limited and have the option of engaging with one or both of these entities, eScribers Limited and Marten Walsh Cherer Limited.

Role Involves:

• Producing high-quality legal transcriptions.
• Ensuring accuracy and completeness of transcripts.
• Meeting deadlines.
• Researching case information/references using the internet.
• Maintaining excellent communication.

Requirements:

• Reside in the UK and be legally entitled to work.
• Have a current UK bank account.
• Excellent understanding of the English language, grammar, and punctuation.
• Confidence in using technology and Microsoft Word 2010 or higher.
• Stable Internet connection.
• Commitment to ISO27001 security standards.
• Recommended: Infinity IN-USB 2 or IN-USB 3 foot pedal.
