PayPay Card is seeking a QA Engineer to join their team. The company was established in 2021 to provide user-friendly fintech services integrated with the PayPay platform, which has over 66 million users. The QA Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of PayPay Card's services, contributing to the company's goal of becoming the No.1 financial and credit service in Japan.

Role Involves:

  • Managing and updating PayPay Card's quality standards.
  • Providing feedback on the service from a user perspective.
  • Creating test plans and test designs for agile product development.
  • Executing tests using computers and smartphones.
  • Reporting and providing feedback on test results.
  • Negotiating and coordinating with developers, designers, and directors.
  • Proposing and implementing improvements to the development process.
  • Drafting proposals, preparing contracts, and applying for approvals.
  • Creating manuals.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a QA engineer.
  • QA experience with web or mobile apps (Android and iOS).
  • Ability to understand and analyze technical specifications.
  • Experience in creating test plans, test designs, and executing tests.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced IT/Web development environment (agile experience preferred).
  • Experience in standardizing QA processes and methods, and proposing improvements.
  • Flexible communication skills with development teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of QA tools such as Zephyr, ALM, TestRail, TestLink, QASymphony.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication and documentation skills.
  • Business-level Japanese language skills (native speaker or JLPT N1 equivalent).
