PayPay Card is seeking a Backend Engineer to join their team. The company was established in 2021 to provide user-friendly fintech services integrated with the PayPay payment platform, which has over 69 million users. PayPay Card aims to revolutionize the credit card industry and create new payment experiences through innovation and integration with PayPay.

The role involves designing and developing scalable systems, ensuring high availability and security, and optimizing system performance. The engineer will collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver the best user experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing scalable systems for optimal user experience.
• Creating microservices with high extensibility, availability, and security.
• Participating in code refactoring and algorithm improvements.
• Improving API functionality, performance tuning, debugging, and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of system development experience.
• Experience with object-oriented programming.
• Extensive experience with Java and Spring Boot.
