Job Description
PayPay Card is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their team. PayPay Card was established in 2021 to provide user-friendly fintech services, integrated with the PayPay payment platform, which has over 69 million users. The company aims to revolutionize the credit card industry and create new payment experiences through integration with PayPay.
The Senior Backend Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing scalable systems, ensuring high availability and security. They will collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences. The role involves system design, code refactoring, API improvements, and technical leadership in large projects.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing scalable systems for optimal user experience.
- Designing and developing microservices infrastructure with high availability and security.
- Participating in system performance optimization, including code refactoring and algorithm improvements.
- Improving system quality through API enhancements, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Conducting code reviews and mentoring team members.
- Providing technical leadership in large, cross-team projects.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of system development experience.
- Experience with object-oriented programming.
- Extensive experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience in technology selection.
- Experience in independently resolving issues.
- Experience with relational databases.
