PayPay Card is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to join their team responsible for developing and operating the data infrastructure for PayPay Card's credit card business systems. The company was established in 2021 to provide user-friendly fintech services, leveraging the PayPay platform with over 66 million users. The engineer will contribute to strengthening system operations and the overall team structure as PayPay Group expands its business and merchant network.

Role involves:

• Designing new data analysis infrastructure.
• Developing data infrastructure systems from requirements definition to release.
• Designing, developing, and tuning large-scale data and high-load systems.
• Adhering to privacy and security standards from the design stage.
• Maintaining and operating systems and services.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in building complex data pipelines or developing data analysis infrastructure.
• Experience with at least one major language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala) and SQL.
• Experience developing with AWS EKS or Glue.
• Experience developing distributed processing using Spark, etc.
• Experience with GitOps implementation/operation.
• Experience in developing and operating large-scale systems, or experience with large-scale data and high-load systems.
• Experience creating and maintaining ETL processes.
• Experience in designing, building, and operating DataLake or data warehouses.
• Experience with DBMS and SQL tuning.
