PayPay Card is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accounting professional to join their team. This role involves monthly and quarterly closing processes, as well as tax reporting responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience in a similar role.

The role will be part of accounting department, which consists of the Accounting Group (6 members) and the Accounting Group (4 members), with 11 members in total including the manager. There are employees who joined the company mid-career and employees seconded from group companies, and the backgrounds are diverse, so it is an environment where people who joined the company mid-career can easily adapt.

Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing new transactions to determine appropriate accounting treatment.
• Documenting accounting treatment decisions.
• Improving and streamlining accounting processes.
• Negotiating with audit firms on related matters.

Requirements:

• Experience in accounting audit or advisory services related to institutional accounting (3+ years, experience with IFRS optional application companies).
• Experience in accounting/financial accounting at IFRS optional application companies (3+ years, experience leading the review/determination of accounting methods based on IFRS).
• Certified Public Accountant or passed the CPA secondary exam.
