Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description

ATS, founded in 1985, is a company with a presence in the United States, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. They specialize in industrial maintenance and improving factory operations. They are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for their Mapleton, Illinois location.This role involves:

• Performing mid to expert level break-fix & preventative maintenance.
• Identifying and sourcing parts, supplies and repair items.
• Setting up and operating machining operations.
• Complying with 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Driving and participating in CI activities.
• Updating records and reviewing CMMS history.
• Troubleshooting and analyzing control systems.
• Utilizing predictive maintenance technologies.
• Providing assistance to lower level technicians.
• Completing on-the-job and technical self-study programs.
• Following all safety related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions and guidelines.

Requirements include:

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Associates degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience in general industry or successful completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program.
• Understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and specialized tools.
• Ability to travel if required.
