Job Description

ATS, founded in 1985, is a company with a presence in the United States, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. They specialize in industrial maintenance and aim to improve factory operations. They are seeking a Repair Technician I to join their team in Bellefontaine, Ohio.This role involves repairing electronic and/or mechanical equipment and tooling, performing basic product development, communicating with customers, building fixtures, performing warranty analysis, and processing service reports. The technician will also participate in the ATS Culture Initiative, focusing on process improvement and quality.Responsibilities:

• Repairs electronic and/or mechanical equipment and/or tooling at component level of intermediate complexity.
• Performs basic product development.
• Communicates with customers on an occasional basis as necessary.
• Builds fixtures under general supervision.
• Performs warranty analysis.
• Processes required service report paperwork
• Participates in ATS Culture Initiative; continually improves processes; quantitatively monitors processes.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and one to three years related experience and/or training; or five years equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, write reports, and speak effectively.
• Proficiency in basic algebra, physics, and geometry.
• General understanding of electronics and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic understanding of maintenance diagrams.
• Team player, organized, and self-motivated.
• Good driving record.
