Data Scientist II at DoubleVerify

DoubleVerify Scibids is seeking a Data Scientist II to join their team in Paris. The company is a global leader in AI-powered digital campaign activation, empowering brands to drive KPIs, improve efficiency, and reduce manual work. Recently acquired by DoubleVerify, Scibids provides end-to-end measurement and optimization solutions.

The Data Scientist will be responsible for evaluating and improving DoubleVerify Scibids' bidding algorithms, a core asset of the company. This involves actively participating in the automation and development process, addressing business cases with appropriate product improvements. The role requires analytical rigor, curiosity, statistical knowledge, and implementation experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Working with massive datasets of ad impressions and variables.
• Solving non-routine analysis problems.
• Solving scaling/engineering problems related to model production.
• Collaborating with commercial and customer success teams to identify algorithm improvement needs.
• Identifying and automating repetitive processes, including AI-driven solutions.

Requirements:

• MS degree in applied mathematics (e.g., statistics, probabilities, operations research, machine learning).
• 2 years of experience as a Data Scientist with algorithm implementation in an industry programming language (e.g., Python, C++).
• Professional/academic experience in a SQL-like language.
