Sr. Data Engineer I at DoubleVerify

Scibids, now part of DoubleVerify, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join their team in Paris. This role is crucial for developing and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers Scibids' AI-driven digital campaign activation platform. The Senior Data Engineer will contribute to the development of projects ensuring they run efficiently, focusing on data ingestion, processing, and delivery.

The Data Engineering team is at the core of the product, responsible for ensuring correct and reliable data for all teams. This involves managing high-volume, diverse data, and overseeing outbound communications with partners.

Role Involves:

• Creating ETL jobs to process data from various sources (APIs, CSV, Avro, Parquet).
• Contributing to the development of a reverse ETL for uploading Scibids models.
• Creating APIs and libraries to facilitate inter-team communications.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a data engineer
• Advanced knowledge of programming languages (SQL & Python proficiency).
• Ability to program in a simple and short way (KISS principle).
• Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed.
• Professional experience working with large datasets.
• Experience with distributed and parallel systems, information retrieval, developing large software systems
