Staff Architect at DoubleVerify

DoubleVerify is seeking a Staff Architect to join their Architecture team in Tel Aviv. The company is a big data analytics firm that tracks and analyzes billions of ads daily for major brands. The Staff Architect will work closely with product and engineering teams to shape technical solutions, ensuring they meet design goals. The role involves guiding and collaborating with engineers and senior leadership, as well as shaping broader engineering platforms. The Staff Architect will:

• Architect, design, and build distributed systems for Big Data workloads.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and provide technical leadership.
• Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations.
• Build scalable and high-quality code, reviewing developers’ code.
• Define and advocate for technical standards of CI/CD, quality, and security.
• Take data-driven decisions based on data analysis.
• Facilitate the creation of documentation and diagrams.
• Communicate and partner with technical and non-technical teams.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in building and operating mission-critical, data-intensive, and distributed systems.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Scala, Java, .Net, or Python development (preferably several of them).
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in SQL and data analysis.
• Ability to architect and design complex software systems.
• Understanding of Data Architecture concepts and modern tools.
• Experience with low latency high volume distributed systems.
• Experience with SDLC processes.
• Good interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field or equivalent technical experience.
