Job Description

DoubleVerify is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their platform data engineering team. The candidate will build an online analytics platform providing insights and data for top brands and media platforms. The engineer will work on high-scale distributed architecture, handling large-scale data processing. They will integrate data catalogs and semantic layers, working with data lakes like Snowflake, BigQuery, and DataBricks. What this role involves:

• Developing and maintaining high-scale distributed architecture.
• Processing large-scale data at a petabyte scale.
• Integrating complex tools like data catalogs and semantic layers.
• Designing technical implementations to grow systems.

Requirements:

• At least 7 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven experience with Python or other object-oriented languages.
• Strong SQL proficiency.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and web-based APIs.
• Experience with BI platforms.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
