Systems Engineer

Job Description

Engineers Gate is seeking a Systems Engineer to join its Systems Infrastructure Team in Singapore. This role is the first member of the EG IT team in the Asia-Pacific region and reports to the New York-based Head of Infrastructure. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, operation, and support of the company's technology environment.He will start as remote and transition to an in-office role. The role involves physical work to support the Singapore office, including initial setup and day-to-day in-person support.Responsibilities:

• Managing projects independently.
• Providing white glove, high-touch user support.
• Overseeing and assisting initial office setup
• Day-to-day in-person support and workstation adds/changes

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in CS, EE, or related field.
• 5-10 years of professional experience in a technology-related field.
• Superb communication skills.
• Able to manage projects independently.
• Server administration – Windows and/or Linux
• Public cloud (particularly AWS)
• Scripting/programming (Powershell, Python, Bash, etc.)
• Mobile device management controls (MDM/MAM)
• Videoconference and phone systems
• Desktop support across multiple operating systems – Windows, Mac and Linux
• White glove, high-touch user support
• Windows and Active Directory administration
• Email system administration and support
• Security and compliance controls (endpoint security, firewalls, etc.)
• Networking (routing and switching)
