Bosa Properties Inc. is seeking a Senior Analyst, FP&A for a 15-month contract in Vancouver, BC. The Senior Analyst, FP&A will support our business leaders in complex, long-term decision making and assist in providing timely and meaningful financial insights to enable the business to analyze performance and make data-driven decisions.

The ideal candidate will be an analytical financial professional with strong business acumen, capable of adapting to change, and providing unique perspectives and sound business advice.

What the role involves:

  • Prepare quarterly and annual KPI reporting for Corporate and Line of Business functions.
  • Prepare and consolidate short term and long term corporate cash flow.
  • Assess organizational debt metrics and updates to dashboards through Power BI.
  • Prepare five year business plan forecasts.
  • Collaborate with business units to ensure quality of financial data and analyze financial results.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly risk reports for Finance and Operations.
  • Coordinate and host monthly risk meetings with all risk groups.
  • Prepare and consolidate quarterly risk report from all risk groups to the Risk Governance Committee.
  • Support monthly updates to the risk dashboard through Power BI.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in finance or accounting in an analytical capacity.
  • Designated CPA or CFA.
  • Advanced working proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and FP&A software applications.
  • Ability to work in complex spreadsheets and interpret large volumes of business data.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation (verbal/written) skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex business situations and summarize key issues.
  • Experience working in the real estate industry will be considered an asset.
  • Experience with Power BI will be considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated experience managing changing priorities efficiently and effectively, managing and meeting deadlines.
