Cloud Support Engineer at Datacor

Datacor is seeking a Cloud Support Engineer to join their CTS team. The Cloud Support Engineer will manage, support, and evolve Datacor's cloud environments, ensuring operational excellence. This role requires a deep understanding of hosted ERP solutions. The position is hybrid, based in San Jose, Costa Rica.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize both thick client and web applications.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to address service gaps.
• Learn Datacor's ERP System and the relationship between the backend database and the frontend software.
• Work with urgency to minimize downtime to customers.

Requirements:

• Fluency in Microsoft SQL Server including Transact-SQL and general database management.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Access schemas, queries, tables, indices, and underlying database elements.
• Affinity for Microsoft Server Operating systems and the ability to migrate files/folders between disconnected environments.
• Aptitude with database migrations, specifically concerning the process of converting Microsoft Access databases to SQL.
• Proficient in English (C1 level).
