Insights Analyst

Job Description

Angi is seeking an Insights Analyst to join their Domain Knowledge team. In this role, the analyst will explore the nuances of the trades on the Angi platform to improve user experiences and build trust with homeowners and professionals. The Insights Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership, advising on strategies to improve the homeowner and Pro experience, monitoring industry trends, and conducting targeted research and analysis. The ideal candidate will be curious, analytical, and passionate about understanding user behavior. • Analyzing internal and external data sources to uncover trends and actionable insights.
• Leading qualitative interviews with tradespeople and homeowners.
• Evaluating platform performance and customer behavior.
• Synthesizing findings into actionable insights for product and content strategy.
• Presenting findings in visual and narrative formats.
• Recommending and prioritizing impactful initiatives.
• Acting as a subject matter expert on the trades.
• Monitoring industry trends and building a network of trade contacts.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of experience in consumer insights, analytics, strategy, or a related field.
• Proficiency in business analysis and data analysis tools, including advanced Excel and data visualization platforms.
• Experience with SQL is a plus.
• Comfort conducting qualitative interviews and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative insights.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs.
• Familiarity with the trades or home services is a plus.
• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to build processes from scratch.
