C Engineer at Pico

Pico is seeking a C Engineer to join its engineering team in Dublin. Pico fuels the global capital markets community by providing market data services and managed infrastructure solutions. This role involves designing and developing new features across Pico’s entire product range, including ultra-low latency market data and order execution solutions, and real-time performance analytics.

The successful candidate will work with a team of highly-skilled engineers, solving problems related to normalizing and analyzing data in real-time. Pico is at an exciting stage with on-going innovative work.

Responsibilities:

• Design and development of new features across Pico’s entire product range.
• Work on ultra-low latency market data and order execution solutions.
• Normalize and analyze data in real time.

Requirements:

• BSc/MSc in a relevant Engineering discipline (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc).
• Proficiency in C and/or C++ development under Linux.
• Knowledge of multi-threaded application development.
• Insatiable appetite for problem-solving and learning about technology.
• Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to ask for help, take advice, and incorporate constructive feedback.
• 1+ years of experience working in a Tech firm, preferably in the financial space.
