Senior C++ Engineer

Job Description

Pico is seeking a Senior C++ Engineer to join its world-leading engineering team in Krakow. The successful candidate will contribute to the design and development of new features across Pico’s entire product range, focusing on ultra-low latency market data and order execution solutions. Pico's Redline Trading Solutions and Corvil Analytics technology address challenges in equities, options, futures, and foreign exchange markets.

The role involves working with a team of highly-skilled engineers, solving problems related to normalizing and analyzing real-time data. Pico offers a collaborative environment where learning and innovation are encouraged.

Role Involves:

• Designing and developing new features for Pico's product range.
• Working on ultra-low latency market data and order execution solutions.
• Normalizing and analyzing real-time data.
• Collaborating with a team of highly-skilled engineers.

Requirements:

• BSc/MSc in a relevant Engineering discipline (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Maths, Physics, etc).
• Strong proficiency in C++ development under Linux.
• Experience with high-performance systems and multi-threaded application development.
• Knowledge of IP networking.
• Focus on writing maintainable code.
• Experience with automated testing (unit testing, integration testing).
• Excellent customer service attitude, communication skills (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
