Senior C++ Engineer

Job Description

Pico is seeking a Senior C++ Engineer to join their engineering team in Krakow. Pico fuels the global capital markets community by providing market data services and managed infrastructure solutions. The engineer will work on the design and development of new features across Pico’s product range, including Redline Trading Solutions and Corvil Analytics technology.

The role involves solving problems encountered when normalizing and analyzing data in real time and bringing technology into new markets and deployment models.

Responsibilities:

• Design and development of new features across Pico’s entire product range.
• Work on Redline Trading Solutions and Corvil Analytics technology.
• Solve problems encountered when normalizing and analyzing data in real time.

Requirements:

• BSc/MSc in a relevant Engineering discipline (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Maths, Physics, etc).
• Strong proficiency in C++ development under Linux.
• Experience with high-performance systems and multi-threaded application development.
• Knowledge of IP networking.
• Focus on writing maintainable code.
• Automated testing (unit testing, integration testing).
• Excellent customer service attitude, communication skills (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
