Software Engineer

Job Description

Angi is seeking a Software Engineer to join their growing team. The Software Engineer will be responsible for writing clean code, testing, documentation and communication.

This role is hybrid in NYC, Denver, or Indianapolis, or fully remote

Responsibilities:

• Foster a collaborative environment and deliver high-quality features.
• Analyze requirements and propose solutions.
• Write and review clean, maintainable code.
• Implement features to enhance application performance and scalability.
• Participate in code sprints and agile processes.
• Create and modify tests for automated functionality.
• Ensure code meets performance, reliability, quality, security, and testability standards.
• Participate in discussions to solve problems and design scalable systems.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of hands-on development experience.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or related STEM field.
• Experience in developing enterprise-level features with functional programming (Java, Scala, or Ruby on Rails).
• Understanding of code versioning tools (Git).
• Exceptional communication skills.
