Presales Engineer

Job Description

Minitab is seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer to join their team in Hilversum, Netherlands. This role involves working closely with the sales teams to support sales opportunities by contributing to opportunity plans and generating software license/subscription, maintenance, services, and training bookings.

The Pre-Sales Engineer will provide sales support through in-depth discovery sessions, customer presentations, and demonstrations, both in person and via web conferencing. They will also provide technical support for the delivery and maintenance of demonstration solutions and represent Minitab at trade shows and events.

The role reports to a Solution Architect Team Lead and offers onboarding, training, and mentoring.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting sales teams with multi-product and solution-based sales opportunities.
• Contributing to and executing opportunity plans.
• Providing sales support through discovery sessions and customer presentations.
• Providing technical support for demonstration solutions.
• Representing Minitab at trade shows and events.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, data science, or equivalent experience.
• Master's degree preferred in statistics or data science-related field.
• Fluency in English and/or Dutch or German.
• Ability to align technology with business value.
• Teaching and tailoring skills.
• Strong planning and time management skills.
