Simul8 is seeking a Senior Developer to provide technical leadership, coach the team, and help shape the future of how the company works. The Senior Developer will play a key role in modernizing development processes and driving continuous improvement. Simul8 builds simulation-driven digital twins, empowering organizations to make data-driven decisions. The company's software is used by major global brands and has contributed to significant Tech for Good initiatives.

The Senior Developer will spend 70% of their time coding, while also helping modernize engineering processes and drive technical growth across the team.

What the role involves:

• Maintaining code quality for million-pound decisions.
• Advocating for best practices in coding, testing, and software delivery.
• Conducting peer reviews to ensure high standards.
• Contributing to architectural design for scalable solutions.
• Driving adoption of coding standards and documentation.
• Helping define the technical direction of projects.
• Leading continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Experience in front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Proficiency in back-end languages (Node.js, C#, Python, or C++).
• Familiarity with DevOps & Infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform or Bicep).
