Job Description
Zafin is seeking a Lead Cloud Operations Engineer to ensure the stability and performance of its hybrid cloud and on-premises environment. This role involves driving technology transformation initiatives, providing technical guidance to the team, and maintaining the organization’s infrastructure, business applications, and platforms. The Lead Cloud Operations Engineer will report to the Director, Systems and Technology.
What this role involves:
- Providing technical guidance and driving initiatives across multiple technology scopes.
- Managing the global IT infrastructure, enterprise information systems, and end-user services.
- Leading business transformation initiatives under IT scope.
- Actively participating in executing the IT strategy.
- Overseeing the maintenance of all enterprise IT assets.
- Evaluating technology risks and driving remediation measures.
- Ensuring Change Management process standards are followed.
- Leading complex technical projects in an agile environment.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- 14+ years of relevant experience in information technologies with a minimum of 3 years in a technical leadership role.
- Sound knowledge of cloud concepts and core working experience in at least one cloud platform, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Solid experience with Infrastructure components (Compute, Storage, Networking, virtualization).
- Experience in administering Microsoft 365 suite of applications is preferred.
- Familiarity with Atlassian products.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with experience in issue triaging and resolution for complex technical issues.
- Excellent problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of information security.
