Junior Accountant

Job Description

Zafin is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their finance team in India. The ideal candidate will have experience in India SEZ-related compliance and accounts payable, preferably within an IT company. The role involves working with a global team and requires strong expertise in Microsoft Excel.

Role involves:

• Ensuring adherence to Special Economic Zone (SEZ) regulations.
• Processing and managing vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and assisting in month-end closing activities.
• Using Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting, with exposure to SEZ compliance and accounts payable in an IT company.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel and accounting tools.
• Excellent communication skills, problem-solving ability, and a growth mindset.
• Experience working with global teams is an added advantage.
