ClearScore is seeking a Commercial Manager to drive growth in their Loans marketplace in South Africa. The Commercial Manager will report to the Commercial Lead. The role involves shaping and executing the Loans vertical strategy, managing high-value partnerships, and driving commercial performance. This individual will collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams.
  • Owning the commercial performance of the Loans vertical.
  • Designing and executing the commercial strategy.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with lending partners.
  • Negotiating commercial agreements.
  • Using data to identify opportunities and track performance.
  • Leading initiatives to improve user experience and partner outcomes.
  • Supporting business development efforts.
  • 3+ years of experience in strategy consulting, fintech, consumer finance, banking, or B2B tech.
  • Experience in commercial or partner-facing roles.
  • Strong commercial negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and Excel.
  • Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset.
