Job Description
DeepIntent is seeking a Software Engineer in Test to join their QA team in Pune, India. The candidate will collaborate with Product Managers and Developers to understand application features, create test plans, write test cases, and enhance application testability. This is an individual contributor role within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Role involves:
- Creating robust comprehensive test plans.
- Writing test cases.
- Working closely with developers to improve application testability.
- Integrating end-to-end tests with CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitoring and improving metrics around test coverage.
Requirements:
- Several years of experience in software Quality Assurance.
- Hands-on experience with QA Automation Framework development & Design (Preferred language Python).
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies.
- Scripting skills (Python, Perl, Shell Scripting).
- Strong problem analysis and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in databases, preferably MySQL.
- Debugging skills.
- REST/API testing experience.
- Experience working in the Linux/Unix environment.
- Basic understanding of OS.
