Job Description
Valon is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team and help power the software ecosystem that is disrupting the mortgage industry. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and building robust infrastructure and working with product and design to define the best experience for Valon customers. Valon supports remote work and has offices in New York City and San Francisco.
Responsibilities:
- Learn new concepts and technologies quickly
- Design and build robust and extensible infrastructure
- Understand the inner workings of a highly complex industry
- Work with Product and Design to define the best experience for our customers
Ideal Background:
- 4+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong communicator
- Experience building scalable systems from scratch
- Experience with web/mobile application development, large-scale distributed systems, or infrastructure management
- Time management skills for a fast-paced startup environment
